I use my AI for science articles. For feeding references into the stack with the reference, I think you should just use the URL of the site, book, etc. Then, clicking on the 'stack' button beside the text would get the message saved in the AI's information repository. It can be accessed from the "My Data" tab. For the reference part, if you tell the AI that you want the reference, it gives it to you.
